Saws Are Necessary For Hot Weather Concrete Applications
CORONA, Calif. – July, 2005 – Summer is here and contractors
should be prepared to handle faster setting concrete. When the weather
heats up, concrete finishers need to get on the job faster, and before
random cracks appear. As concrete hydrates and begins to set, it develops
internal stresses. In warmer weather, concrete hydrates faster and contractors
need to be prepared to cut concrete as early as possible in order to avoid
random cracks.
Soff-Cut manufactures a complete line of concrete saws and blades with skid plates
to handle all job sizes. The The X-50 Handheld saw is designed for finish cuts,
scoring and decorative applications. The low dust blade block system allows for
a dry cut and it controls the debris for easy cleanup. The new X-750 mid level
Prowler saw is both durable and economical. This saw features a low-noise 6 hp
engine and is ideal for use on commercial and industrial projects. The X-5000
Paver saw will amaze those contractors who have been asking for a saw that can
cut 4” deep with a dry cut. This is the biggest saw in the Soff-Cut line
up and it can be used for commercial slabs and large industrial projects, but
it was designed with the Paving Contractor in mind. With its unique 4” depth
